Michael graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree, in 1998 from Carleton University with a Master of Arts degree, and from the University of Western Ontario in 2001 with a Bachelor of Laws degree. He was admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2002.
For the first seven years of his career, Michael worked at two prominent insurance defence firms in downtown Toronto. As a result, he has a unique understanding of the insurance industry. He now acts exclusively for injured people. His practice focuses on tort, long term disability, and statutory accident benefit claims. He has represented clients at all levels of court in Ontario as well as private arbitrations and arbitrations at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. He is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, Ontario Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association.
In his spare time, Michael enjoys travelling with his wife and daughter, following the stock market, golf and snowboarding.
